Required Inputs

- Incentive Fee — Share of profits above hurdle (typically 10-30%)

Methodology
The template uses a hard hurdle approach: the incentive fee applies only to returns exceeding the hurdle amount, calculated net of management fees. Key formulas include:
- Incentive Base = max(0, Net-of-Mgmt Return − Hurdle Amount)
- Net Return = Gross Return − Management Fee − Incentive Fee
- Fee Drag = Gross Return % − Net Return %

- Single-period annual analysis (no multi-year compounding)
- Hard hurdle structure (not soft hurdle or catch-up)
- No high-water mark modeling
- Management fee calculated on beginning-of-period AUM
