Methodology
The template uses standard corporate finance formulas: Payout Ratio = Dividends / Net Income, and SGR = ROE ร Retention Ratio. All formulas are visible and editable โ right-click the sheet tab and select "Unprotect Sheet" to inspect or customize.
Assumptions & Limitations
- Based on current-period net income and trailing twelve-month dividends
- SGR assumes constant ROE and payout ratio going forward
- Does not account for share buybacks as a form of capital return
