Scailex Corporation Ltd. (Scailex) is an Israel-based company. The Company operates in three primary operating segments: the Partner segment, the segment of financial asset management and identification of business opportunities, and the Cellular Operators Segment. Partner segment is a result of the Company's acquisition of Partner Communications Company Ltd. (Partner), a provider of telecommunications services (cellular, fixed-line telephony and Internet services) under the Orange brand, involved in the provision of mobile communications services on the territory of Israel. In addition, the Company's activities include the import, distribution and maintenance of Samsung mobile handset and accessories products. The majority of cellular and communication related equipment sales are to Partner, Cellcom and Pelephone, as well as to independent resellers. In January 2013, the Company divested its controlling interest in Partner Communications Company Ltd to S.B. Israel Telecom Ltd.
