Viscount Systems, Inc. is a manufacturer, developer and service provider of access control security products. The Company designs, manufactures and services access control and security products, including intercom and door access control systems and emergency communications systems. These systems use telecommunications wiring to control access to buildings and other facilities for security purposes. As of December 31, 2011, the Company's business was operated primarily through its wholly owned subsidiary, Viscount Communication and Control Systems Inc. MESH is a technology developed by the Company.In addition to MESH, the Company's access control and security product lines include Enterphone 2000, a building intercom; Entercheck, a card access system; RadioClik and InfraClik, radio frequency and infrared remote controls; Elektra, liquid crystal display intercom panels; EmerPhone, emergency telephone entry systems; and various accessories.
